This is a safe place
The website www.cibercorresponsales.org is a safe and beneficial environment.
These are the measures that we take:

Data. The published contents of the personal blogs of every cibercorresponsal are public, but the personal information of the minors are completely private, they are invisible and protected.

Virtual identity. The young individuals post using a “virtual identity” and it is not possible to contact them directly, or know their personal information. In their profile, they must use a “nick” in place of their name and an “avatar” in place of a photo of themselves. |

Contacts. The virtual community has specific security measures designed to prevent the young individuals from establishing contact with strangers and spreading their personal information throughout the Internet . |

Secure Community. As for the interactions within the community, it cannot be forgotten that this is a real community before a virtual one: every young individual participating is a part of a group moderated by instructors. The people responsible for each group and each organization, knows each young individual that is participating. Also, everyone that forms part of the community subscribes through a process that is reviewed by several people, including the organization itself and Plataforma de Infancia. There are also specific measure taken for possible intrusions in the community, as well as regulation of all the interactions that occur, to facilitate an intervention if necessary . |
